The Person I Would Trade Places With In Life

The person I would like to trade places in life would be Barack Obama. Barack Obama is the president of the United States and lives in a huge house called the white house.

I would love to trade places with with Obama because he is basically the leader of the United States. He even gets a huge house with every person in it takes care of him without him spending any money. Also mostly evryone in the world like"s him for being there president.

Baseball Tryouts

On May 21st it was the last Baseball Tryout to make the team.Before there were 2 other cuts before this one and only around 17 made them. The maximum people they were gonna take was 12 and 5 poeple are gunna return that were on the last year team. So only 7 new people can make it. There was many good people at the tryout and it would be a very hard choice for the coaches to pick but I hope me and my friends Douglas and Ismail make it.

Boston's loss

In the NHL the Boston bruins ended the regular season in 1st place out of the east division but sadly were eliminated in the playoffs. Many people had a lot of hope that they were gunna win the stanley cup but the hurricanes didn't let that happen. After winning there first series against the Montreal Canadiens they moved on to the Carolina Hurricanes. In game 1 the bruins beat the hurricanes 4-1. In game 2 the hurricanes beat boston 3-0. Game 3 the hurricanes won again beatig Boston 3-2. Game 4 hurricanes beat the bruins 4-1. Game 5 bruins won 5-0. Game 6 bruins won 4-2 to force a game seven. Then at the last game sadly the Boston Bruins lost 3-2 in overtime!

Girls poisoned in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan 61 girls in a high school fell suddenly sick and went to the doctors but by then most passed out. It caused them confusing, weeping and irritability. The doctors say that it was caused by fumes like poison gas. The girls who died were very educated and people believe that the talibans wanted to kill the because of that. For some girls who didn't pass out said that there was a very strong and sweet smell that gave the large headaches and drowsiness. After in the hospital some girls were paralyzed for a while. The school was a boy and girl school, the boys went in the afternoon and the girls went in the morning and the illness was only in the morning.

Nagar Kirtan

Yesterday was Nagar Kirtan for people who don't know what that is, it's the New Year for the sikh culture. On this day we walk from the Malton temple to the Rexdale temple but in different places they may walk more or less than us. While walking we get entertained by little kids doing martial arts or adults fighting with swords and shields.Also people play instruments for music and our preys are sang through huge speakers. Along the walk many people bring food or drinks and hand them out for the people walking to keep them full and energized. This happens once a year and not only my culture have to walk anyone can, so maybe try next year!
